We’re proud to support a variety of athletes across a number of different sports. Take a peek below to see some of the incredible people we’re excited to support.

Seren Dodd

Seren is a promising young athlete with a passion for winter sports. Based locally in Morzine, Seren’s journey into the world of biathlon began in 2021. Demonstrating a natural talent alongside her dedication, which quickly caught the attention of talent scouts, leading to Seren joining Team GB for Biathlon.

Seren has already achieved success in both local French races as well as representing Team GB in the OPA Biathlon Alpen Cup. With a bright future ahead, Seren Dodd aspires to represent Team GB on the international stage, competing in major biathlon events and, ultimately, the Winter Olympics.

DAVID COLE

David has completed in four Ironman and 70.3 World Championships. He has raced in Kona in a time of 9.54 and in the Ironman World Championships in Nice, finishing 23rd in his Age Group in the World.

He has done Ironman Wales 5 times and also won Gold in the European Age Group Duathlon championships in Germany. David excels in running and has a marathon PB of 2.34 and a half marathon PB of 71 minutes. He is the Head Coach of DCTRIATHLON coaching in Wales.

Iain Hastings

Iain Hastings is one of the founders of Treacle Velo and actively competes in triathlon amongst other challenges. After transitioning out of Michelin kitchens, he needed something to keep him occupied and fell into the world of endurance sports.

Being a driven character allowed him to conquer some of triathlons giants such as Patgaonman and Ironman Wales while also setting his sights on some different challenges such as swimming the channel and breaking the World Record for the fastest marathon in a pair of high heels.

Rachel Manning

Rachel is multi-discipline cyclist with experience competing in enduro, gravel, and cross-country (XC). In 2024, she raced in the Gravel World Championships in Belgium, and in 2019 finished 2nd in the British National Enduro Series. She is supported by Hot Pursuit Cycles, a bike shop based in Devon, England, which helps her stay equipped for her adventures.

Beyond competition, Rachel enjoys bike packing trips, savouring baguettes along the way, and embracing the freedom that comes with riding a bike

Andy Davenport

Andy is a cyclist, Lecturer in Biomedical Sciences, and cycling coach with a PhD in Exercise Physiology and Nutrition. He has been racing since 2017, competing in road, crit, and gravel events. He podiumed in his age-category at UCI Granfondo Cymru, qualifying for and racing at the World Championships in Leuven.

When not racing, Andy loves bikepacking around the UK and Europe. Having already experienced the incredible work of Treacle Velo, he is honoured to be supported by the team.
